Five Best Scifi Movies

My 5 best are: Star Wars, Forbidden Planet, Planet of the Apes (original), Blade Runner and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

My list would be almost the same except I would swap 2001: A Space Odyssey for Planet of the Apes.

And I would dump Star Wars and put Alien in its place. Technically, Star Wars is more science fantasy than fiction.

2001 was 6th on my list. I liked Aliens more than Alien but there's no question Alien is a classic.
