I've just finished reading this book and highly recommend it

A very detailed analysis of the battle (from the IJN side). Lots of research done, mostly drawing from Japanese sources. Almost minute by minute during some crucial battle moments. Description of bombing runs and CAP reaction, individual pilot names mentioned with regularity. Nice photos and even graphics of direction of attacking planes on carriers taking evasive tracks. Lots of appendixes including Jap order of battle, Carrier and planes specs and profile diagram, extensive pilot roster and even Jap CAP activity roster.
It also dispels a lot of major myths of the battle and poking holes through Fuchida's account.

I probably sounded like rambling but I'm just amazed by the amount of detail and info in this book. Do read the description and reviews on Amazon, others describe this work much better then I can.
This book has now taken a place of pride and importance in my collection.
