BTW, even though it is very nice, the BBI 1:18 F/A-18C Jolly Rogers scheme is not an actual plane. VFA-103 only used F/A-18Fs in their Squadron.

Also the paint scheme on the BBI F-18 "Jolly Rogers" is ficticious,as far as I know.Should be mostly gray, with the distinctive JR black skull and crossbones on the tails only.
No idea why BBI decided to do a "fantasy"scheme.
I would have prefered a proper scheme.

Yeah I too would have liked to see BBI paint it with the proper gray scheme. However, that would have required them to make a Super Hornet. The one legacy Hornet that BBI should have done was the VFA-37 Ragin Bulls scheme. It's beautiful and all with that black and blue bull that reminds me of the Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull!!
