While searching the web for obscure WWII related stuff I stumbled upon this e-book... "The Trail Of The Fox: The Search for the True Field Marshal Rommel" by David Irving. The Author is a controversial figure who has been linked to holocaust denial among other things, but has also written a number of biographies and analysis of high level Nazi military and political leaders, some of which have received high praise from mainstream historians, and a few have also been published in hardcopy book form. I've only read a small portion of it, but so far it seems to be very well done. At nearly 700 pages this is not light reading by any means, but it should be well worth the time to download for anyone who is interested in the life and career of the "Desert Fox".
