What is the material used in WWII for landing strips?
(I thought it was called Marshall Matting)
Does anyone know if someone makes it is 1/18 scale and if not any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure you are talking about PSP, or pierced steel planking... (i think that's what it stood for...)
Some model companies make it for 1/48 and 1/72 scales i think. check squadron.com and type in PSP, see what comes up.
