St. Louis Area 1/18 Garage Sale anyone?

Post by pcoughran » Sat Sep 13, 2014 2:12 pm

I'm getting ready to unload quite a few 1/18 aircraft and thought I'd see if there were any St. Louis area natives who might be up for a Garage Sale of just 1/18 stuff?
I hate to do Ebay and lose money to Paypal and Shipping. This way you could actually put your paws on the merchandise too (maybe even haggle face to face).

Just reply to this thread if interested - not going to do a poll.

If there's no interest I may come back and try to sell here or go to the Bay (last choice) - maybe even just get ahold of Aviator Nut.

I'll post some pictures of some of the merchandise (it's all been out of the box but most of it is in pristine condition - there's 2 or 3 that have some broken gear or what not) on my next post.

I also have some armor to sell along with the planes. Here are pictures of everything. P.S. I also have most of the original boxes. The Fockewolf has damaged landing gear, and F-86 has a repaired and fully functional nose gear.

The Stuka has two custom Picklehaub cannons. They are painted but not installed.

The F14 below has an extra set of brand new main gear from JSI along with a set of unfinished metal main gear. The F-14 also has been custom painted and the leopard spots have been removed.

This was also custom painted and has a refinished interior w/ custom antennae.

The Pave Hawk has the following Picklehaub additions:
M134 Miniguns, Refuelling boom, FLIR system, Radome, and Window cutout inserts. I've added my own additions of two 50 cal machine guns in the doors, rescue litter, fast ropes, and the tilted tail rotor. All is painted to match the original camo paint scheme.

I'm not anywhere near St Louis but if you will consider dealing with paypal or money order I'd love to add a 262 night fighter to my collection. Also the silver F-104 and X-1 depending on price. Otherwise best of luck with your sale.

Regarding armors, are they 1/18 or 1/32 scale? Or mixture of both.

If all (or some) armors are 1/32 scale, I would like to purchase them. I am located in Los Angles, CA. I will send the fund by Paypal. I will pay the shipping cost.

Please let me know.
