i owned that plane up until 2009.i got it from gijoewoofer when i lived in mississippi.i traded 2 winter 109's for it.i sold it in 2009 because i needed the money.the extended nose cone was made from the fuel tank.and the pilot was custom blond with a soft helmet.this was one of gijoewoofers first customs.

This scheme would make an excellent repaint for the BBI 109! I know it's similar to their original 109, but I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

The guy selling it told me he acquired it a while back - guess from you bigsarge - and doesn't really know a lot about the subject. He says he looked online for a plane similar in look and went from there.

I told him watchers were concerned about the asking price in light of the errors on it. He may adjust it down if he has to relist it.

didn't mean any dis-respect...was just looking at it from a historical view and if it was a early attempt at Customizing a bird by a fella then I retract my previous statement...

yes the guy got it from me.I actually won it on ebay back in 04 or 05...my final price would have been $85 but like I said earlier in the thread. We worked out a trade. gijoewoofer is on ebay and does some really good customs.I could see maybe $150 for it but not over $300.

I would be very surprised if anyone would pay over $50 for it, if that. If they want a DaK 109 they can be had for around $100 from BBi and they are well done. This is a joke, the woofer is an excellent builder and was maybe trying to bridge the gap between the E and the G6 back in 04 when there was no G2 from bbi, that said, Im surprised he chose to start the custom with an E and not the G6 as the F model he was trying to portray looks much closer to the G than the E.
