Compared to what I usually have to pay for 1/18, and considering what's on offer, this is small change. Now if I could just sort the 'collecting from Omaha' part out I'd give it a go for sure. As it is, I can just imagine the conversation....

Me - "I'm just going out to collect some models"

Wife - "Not more of that rubbish?"

Me - "Yes dear, see you in a Month........"

If you do the "math", this is really an excellent opportunity to jump start a collection...The Blue Angel alone is worth probably, what, $600-$800?
And $300-$400 each seems to be the going price for the F18 & F16...So, those three together could be worth as much as $1600! Now, $1,000 (or maybe a little less) for the balance?
This is really a "premium" collection!

I'm surprised thats its still available and no offers yet to boot.

Guess its still a large sum of money for most people in current times.

Or its just that nobody has this large amount of planes missing in their collection.

Anyone remember that $9,500 - $12,000 lot of 1/18s from Mexico? Wonder if it was eventually sold?

Never mind all that rare jet power on offer, There must be somebody tempted at the thought of adding a Loose JU87 Zero in green to their collection.

Its not the money as much as it's the location. Omaha is in the middle of nowhere.

Until a couple of years ago I lived not to far from Omaha. This collection has a couple of pieces I'd wanted since they first came out, even though I've sold almost all my 1/18 I'd be tempted to make an offer if I was still within driving distance. For that price, anyone who could make the drive and sell what he didn't want at reasonable prices would still get a good deal.

I'm not from US so was not familiar that Omaha is in the middle of nowhere. Or to be positive, its accessible from either East or West Coast? Makes a nice roadtrip though :D

Good eyes Big Sam, must be a rare joint development between the Axis airforces for this JU87 Green Zero
