I was going through Ebay the other day and found a listing under 1/6 scale Ultimate Soldier/ BBI. I looked closely at the picture. I realized it was the Normandy House, the French Ruins and maybe the Barn - all for under 25 bucks!
I watched the listing and ended up snagging it for 38.00 shipped.
I emailed the guy afterwards and he told me that all the pieces were there and verified it was the 3 buildings I wanted. I opened up the box on it's arrival and found them all to be in good shape and he had built the barn for me!
So, share your best story of Ebay or garage sales where you found a great deal on a 1/18 XD item...
Great Deals you made on Ebay on accident

Early December I was at work and wanted to check new listings. I saw a seller listed 2 P-47s and a P-40 for $35 BIN each (and $20.00 shipping). I jumped on the Peg O My Heart, and then noticed that these were all listed within the past 20 minutes. I kept refreshing the sellers list and nailed an NKK Spit for $35 BIN and a Samanth Payton for $45. Same seller listed a Cripes A Mighty for $35 too, but I got to the screen to confirm payment, pushed the button, and the next screen said the auction was already over. But a P-47, Spitfire, and a P-38 all delivered for $175.00 was a great deal....
Today in the mail I just received a Rall 109 that I got last week for $92 delivered. Box is still sealed, but with some soft corners. Being that I may end up opening it, I was OK with the box condition.
I hope that others post more stories. I find this very interesting.

Nothing really crazy, but have got some good deals.
Not exactly by accident though.
I always seem to miss the $35 BIN P-47's etc, that are sometimes posted here.
Century Wings F-14 "Sundowners" for $69,with a free CW F-8.
Two years ago,BBI F-16 MIB for $90.
Also two years ago,BBI F-18 RAAF.Exremely rare for $314.
Last month.Century Wings F-14 "Black Knights" special edition, also with a free CW F-8.
Never really got a model for 'pennies on the dollar".though.

I got one!
Yesterday I was perusing the 1/32 scale selection on ebay, and since I always search the "newly listed" stuff first, I came across an 8 minute old auction for a "Unimax 2003 1/32 tank", and I looked at the pic and it was a Pershing, BIN for $59.99. I know most here are aware that these regularly go for over $200 on ebay when they do appear so I immediately hit "BUY". Well this one was loose, so not quite a good a snag as it coulda been, but still a great find IMO.
