Christmas came early this year in the form of Jerry Napier

Post by billgiff » Fri Dec 07, 2007 2:16 pm

I know that we have a thread already on "Bob Hughes" but I think Jerry Napier deserves a brand new one. I just received this from Sgt. Chris Taylor. ENJOY :!: :!: :!: :!:

Bill,

Sorry to have taken this long to get back with you. I hadn't heard
anything, so I called the prosecutor's office. He was arrested on 9/14/07
(I didn't have the chance to serve the warrant, as I wasn't called as
promised by the prosecutor's office). He bonded out later that day on 10%
cash bond of $7500. Pretrial is next month, trial is in February if he
doesn't take a plea agreement.

I'll try to get the book-in photo from the jail, as since we didn't arrest
him (Sheriff's Dept. did). Again...I'm sorry I didn't keep you in the loop,
but I didn't know myself until I checked today.

If you'd pass this info on, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Chris

Very nice!

I never had dealings with the guy but am glad to see justice is served. I know in the grander scheme of things a toy thief isn' high on law enforcement radar, but it is nice to know bad people get punished.

Can you imagine the laughs he will get in the big house? "My names Bubba, I killed fourteen people with my shoe becuase they looked at me funny. What are you in for?"

This occurred before I joined here but our community is based on trust and I am glad to see this jerk answer for his crimes against our members.

This is really good news for you guys. I'm really happy about this. I can't believe it took a whole year to have him arrested. I hope that each and every one of you gets your stuff back.

I gave that fool almost 2 weeks to make things right with you guys and all he did was send nasty e-mails to people. Did he think that I was bluffing? I'm sure that he knows the answer now. I don't want to ever see any one who buys, sells, or trades on this board to get ripped off again. This needs to be a "safe place" where trust can exist.

I've bought alot of stuff from people on here that has sent their items to me first before I paid them and have had people, out of the kindness of their hearts, find stuff in their AO that I couldn't find in mine send it to me before I paid them and truly value their trust. Trust is priceless as is respect.

Ok, now where's his smiling face?!?!? :)

I forgot to thank Cruizin for really setting all this in motion. I had called Indiana a few times but was really spinning my wheels trying to get anywhere until Cruizin jumped in, so big praise for him from me! :D

Another scumbag bites the dust. I guess things didn't quite work out the way he expected. It would have been priceless to see the look on that boys face when Sheriff John Brown came knocking on his door with a little present for him....matching bracelets.

Truely AMAZING how much information they can pull up on a person -even more if you pay the right price.

Try putting yourself of a friend or relative in and see all the information...
