Has anyone had any updates on how the proceedings are going?
Would be interested to know. I think I was given a quote on date of around Aug when I may get my Zero back but not too sure.

Cheers,

Austeyr

As of July 7, I still haven't heard anything new. I emailed Sgt. Taylor last week and I'm still waiting for a reply.
Has anybody else heard anything from Sgt. Taylor:?:

I wonder what's happened to the case. Bit of a shame, I even receieved photos of my Zero in their evidence lockup ready to be released once charges had been laid.

I know it will cost someone a few bucks, but I've found that a phone call is worth a hundred e-mails in situations like this. Has anyone called Chris recently?

Has anyone told you how you will be getting your items back when they are let out of the XD pokey? Frequently the only option is to come and pick them up locally.

Since I (and a few others) are within an hour or so of this AO, I'd be happy to help you guys out with shipping, etc..

Hopefully it won't come to that, but I suspect it might.

We spoke over the phone a few times a few months ago, but it took a week to arrange a phonecall cause the times zones are differrent. He had me talk about the emails and all the info Ive recieved from Bob. But as time goes by I hear from him less and less.

I received a quick 2 line email and then nothing. All I want is my freaking Zero back!!! I know nothing happens over night but it's getting pretty drawn out. Just want it over and done with.

Nope, nothing, nudda, actually it's extremely disappointing. I hope this hasn't just fallen by the wayside. I've emailed a few times requesting updated progress but have heard nothing back.
Looks like I won't get the Zero back this year.

Has anybody heard from Sgt. Taylor lately? His last email to me was on 7/9. I emailed him 2 weeks ago but haven't heard back from him. I've been very optomistic from the beginning until recently. I'm starting to have doubts that we'll be getting our property back and or that P.O.S. "Bob Hughes" will see justice. Does anybody have any inspiring info? :(

I'd call Sgt Taylor and find out what's going on but the time difference is too hard to do it. Would someone be willing to call him for us?
I kid you not I want my Zero back. Even if I have to pay postage. I was told I would get it back by August and now it's half way through and I've heard nothing.

To everyone, I just received this email from Sgt. Taylor explaining the situation with "Bob Hughes".

Bill,

Sorry to have taken this long to respond..I've been off on vacation for a
couple of weeks, and spent a while without a computer here in the office as they're moving the department around.
I spoke to Angela Raver, the deputy prosecutor assigned to this case. She told me that she was swamped with 5 jury trials this month and numerous suppression hearings, and that she would continue reviewing the case packet. I asked when she would be doing this, and she told me the end of next week.
I apologize for this taking so long. Unfortunately, this prosecutor has
never had a computer case before, and has to work through it slowly to
"absorb" everything in the case. That, and with having 5 trials this month,
she's overworked. I can't make any other excuse for her.

Again, I'll keep you up to speed on what I find out as I get it from them.
Please continue to bear with us...If you have anymore questions or want a
status update, drop me a line. If I don't hear from you before I know
anything, as soon as I know something, I'll fire you off an email.

Thanks!

Chris

it takes time - we get subpoena's usually two years after the case is complete regarding court involvement - then of course the attorneys can request more time before trial for months at a time.

It's good to see the update, Bill. It'll be a year this September that the ball got rolling on "Bob". Chris should have TON of evidence on "Bob" by now. 8) I just hope you boys get ALL of your stuff back with the least amount of out-of-pocket as possible.

And as for lubing up Bubba? No, forget about it. Dry is just fine.
