Those have been out since the first of the year if not longer. They don't move to fastcaesarbc wrote:Hey honey, I'm home and guess what I just bought...a slighly used Chieftan tank. we are going to have to make room in the garage for this so can you please get your sewing machine out of there.Light.Inf.Scout wrote:I hope you do win. Could you imagine if one of us toy freaks won the lottery!? OMG it would be crazy. I would have room after room of $hit. Then I would have to start buying the real stuff too.
As far as winning the lottery . If I hit I would go up to Abordeen make a major contribution to the musem as long as I could take one of the tanks home with me every month. Of course I would bring it back and get another. I would start with there Marder and then there Panther and then.......

Great idea Pickel, just make sure you have a concrete slab capable of supporting about 50+ tons to park those babies on, I don't think your wife would be too happy seeing a Panther parked on top her Daisies.as long as I could take one of the tanks home with me every month. Of course I would bring it back and get another. I would start with there Marder and then there Panther and then.......

Ostketten, I guess your right we drove by our local VFW and they had a 105 Howitzer out front. I told my wife that it would look cool under our 100 year old live oak. She did not agree with me so I guess the Panther is out.ostketten wrote:Great idea Pickel, just make sure you have a concrete slab capable of supporting about 50+ tons to park those babies on, I don't think your wife would be too happy seeing a Panther parked on top her Daisies.as long as I could take one of the tanks home with me every month. G’day Moth
It is the old 1/6th (well some bits of it is anyway) M1025 (tortoise back) HMMWV offering in winterized European cam, a better offering is the GI.Joe 1/6th Humer if you can find one that is, which is far more accurately scaled and also far more accurate.

Pretty interesting stuff, although the price is way more than I would ever be willing to pay. It's too bad the guy hasn't considered scanning this and putting it on CD-ROM in PDF format, I bet it would be a good seller.

Yeah, I think this guy is either a genious (if he can sucker someone into paying that much) or a complete moron.
I wish he would post all of the comments messaged to him through eBay! There was a Luke Skywalker figure with a Hans Solo head posted a week or so ago for $1,000,000 USD starting bid and he posted so many of the comments he got... and lord, they were all pretty funny. Gotta love a seller with a sense of humour.

i bet the listing fee was pretty high for an auction with a starting bid of $1million. So while it may be a bit of a joke, i think the joke's on the seller..

Looks like 21st's Chinese factory found a buyer for the RC M1 tank:

Didn't know the Abrams was used in Vietnam, too, or that it was so small compared to a person, but hey, who am I to argue with the infallibility of Chinese e-bay sellers?

If you wanted to get that beautiful, rare & hard-to-find Forces of Valor Tiger I (Eastern Front 1944 #80304) here's your chance. Unfortunately, I have two already and can't justify having yet another Tiger

If you want an equally hard-to-find but potentially cheap (used) Forces of Valor Jagdpanther (Normandy 1944 #80012), here you go:

Two great eBay finds by a seller that I've done business with many times on & off eBay, rg1911. I always get Forces of Valor from him at below retail prices (except for the Tiger I Eastern Front, which everybody seemed to want!).
1:32 Challenger 2 (Basra 2003):

1:48 MH-60G Pave Hawk (Desert Storm 1991):
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Forces-of-Valor-MH-6 ... dZViewItem
Both of these models are retired and popular.
If you don't enjoy usin' eBay, you can deal with him directly too. He emailed me a list a while back that I've already decimated with purchases He can be reached at [email protected].
