Langley Field P-40 Painting Help Wanted

Post by Coreyeagle48 » Tue Mar 31, 2015 9:17 pm

Greetings

I have the ability to acquire a Langley Field P-40. This is the one that came with the cheap peel and stick decals for the U.S. markings on the wings. I want to purchase the plane but want a "better" option for the U.S. markings

I know we have some great modelers here. Would anyone have the ability or the interest in painting on the stars and circles on the wings for me? I would gladly pay you for your time and materials to do this. I would also pay for the shipping of the wings to you and back to me.

Let me know if you'd be able to help. I will probably only purchase the plane if I can find a better option for the markings than the peel and stick decals.

Corey

Hmmmm.. I thought ONLY the AVG P-40 came with the peel and stick markings because of the Chinese national markings are illegal in China?

Greetings

No the Langley field P-40s also had just a blue circle for markings. The star and red circle were a decal included in the box. And they are TERRIBLE decals

Contact Pizza Guy on here. He can make you some vinyl masks. I've gotten several from him.
