I am offering custom casts.

The enitial set up is were the money comes in. Say to make a F-104 stabilizer. That will take about 5 hrs to do. You need to mount the piece box it in and pour the RTV on half of it. Once the RTV sets you have to flip the form over and repeat on the other side. Labor and RTV is were your cost is.
Then you have to pour it with resin. Usually the first pour is a bust . The pour vents not big enough too much rubber bands on the mould , not enough rubber bands on the mould that kind of thing.

After you get a feel for the pour then you can start producing parts.

The price for a F-104 or a tire for a half track that kind of thing is about
$15-$30 for something small. Pricy but you do need to go through the process.

Now once that is done the next piece will be cheaper. Say about $3 -$5 for the same piece and parts there after. I usually give breaks after about a 10 piece order.

Maybe you know somebody who is missing the same part. You guys can go in together. Once the mould is made I can get about 20 to 40 pours out of the same mold.

Bigger things are more expensive.

Were are you going to get that F-104 stab or the rear rotor blade for your Huey ? That F-18 would be a great buy but how am I going to get that gear door cover ?

These parts would be made out of WHITE RESIN and THEY WILL BE UNPAINTED.

sorry, pH. I was just teasing you a bit. I don't care at all what colour the helmets are; they've got to be painted anyway. In fact, black will probably be a bit easier to cover than white.

Looking forward to getting them.. :)

I am finally getting around to moulding my Stuka "correct looking " prop. The 21st's Stuka prop has those ugly bumps next to the prop and also has a forward rake to it.

Here is the original.

Here is the remake.

I am also making replacement rear stabalizers for the 21st P-51 and F-86.

Here is one on sale on ebay.

Note.

MY ANTENNA SHAFT WILL NOT BE TAPERED. THE SHAFT WILL BE STRAIT. EST COST $15-$25.

YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO BUILD MINE IT WILL BE FULLY BUILT. IT WILL BE UNPAINTED BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST POP MINE ON (AFTER PAINTING )

Very interested, but I still need to aquire the fodder for the Panzer IV conversion. I want to make a Panzer IV command tank with battle damaged side skirts. I was trying to figure out a way to kit bash the antenae but I'd prefer a accurate kit. I don't want to jump the gun, but if I get my spare Panzer IV, it's on.

By the way,
I received the helmets, they look fantastic.

Thanks,

The command star antenae will fit most of German armor. Tigers, Panthers and the Panzer IV.

So a cast copy of a Huey's tail rotor. Cast in white UNPAINTED $5 plus shipping.

Anybody need one ?

I could use one.
Will it have the peg to stick in the hole to attach it to the Huey?
Mine is missing this part.
Let me know.

To tell you the truth I have not looked at it. I thought that the peg and blade were all in one and I was going to cast the whole thing. I need to look at it .

OK here it is. There is a fixed split pin/dowl that holds the prop on. That will be cast in as I make the main cast of the rotor.

That's pretty neat. How much do you guess the price would be?

Not sure , I would say $25-$40 it depends on how I will make the chain fall and how easy it will be to fab up.

The tubing will be brass the chain actual metal. The joints will be resin and the chain fall resin.

The chain fall will be static.
