Tom, what's happening with the German 88? Heard it was due in Jan, too. Can you confirm/disconfirm?

When oh when are they going to do a Jap tank or a Jap artillery piece??!!!? My Japanese commander is feeling REALLY slighted by these oversights.

Hey Winky:
Maybe you missed my earlier post (last week, I think). The Hobby Bunker in Malden, Ma is selling what looks like a nice 1:32 Japanese type I medium tank by Figarti. It comes with three figures and is about $108.00 Hobby Bunker's website is www.hobbybunker.com. P.O.C. is Matt.
Can't afford it? Do what I did-knock over some Salvation Army Kettles, grab the change and run! Hey, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! 8)
Go Starbuck!

One one hand it's nice to know that 21C hasn't forgotten 1/32nd scale. On the other hand NO ALLIED WW2 stuff! DRAT! Over the last couple years they showed us prototypes for a Dodge 6X6, an M3 Grant and US MG teams. We need these a lot more than another 88 (watch the flames erupt after that one!). Still nice to see something new coming. Maybe the Wal-Mart/Motorworks connection will be the salvation of 1/32nd stuff from 21C. Time will tell.

1941 - USA M3A1 Medium Tank 1:32? scale

Post by Black_Dragon_One » Wed Dec 22, 2004 9:27 pm

I saw at KB toy today next to the 1:32 scale king tiger, a 1:32? scale like saint take. It is the WII tank that had a main gun a fix to the senter and a smaller turret gun on top.

It was the take that came before the sherman,

let me know if you guy see this too.

since I only collect 1:18 I left it there.

Winky, The last info on the 88 mm was Jan. So lets see that means march- April or Sept. .. I really don't think they know for sure. My bet is you won't see anything in less than 2 months for 1/32. But I could be wrong. Tom C (fetco)

New 21st Century

I'm going to be in a mall tomorrow (yup, last minute Xmas shopping) and will see those Salvation Army guys. Would they really miss one of their pots? I could really use that Figarti tank. Saw it at OTSN. Gary Keupfoert got it. Man, it's nice looking, but, yes, expensive, especially when you need lots to carry out your 1/32nd scale wargaming/battles. So I guess it won't be Figarti.

Black Dragon one, my guess is you saw a New Ray Grant. Can you confirm whether the packaging you saw was 21st Century? If so, a 1/32nd scale Grant is BIG news. Makes you wonder what else is coming down the pike they haven't announced.

Saw pics in the Dec issue of Toy Soldier and Model Figure mag of two other new 1/32nd scale 21st Century releases - a P-47 and an FW- 190. Both looked sweet. Also looking forward to their upcoming P-40.

Merry Xmas, you guys!! May Santa be good to all of you. And a special thanks to all of our dealers. like George. Tom, and Lightening for great info thruout the year and great service.

Thanks, Hoverbug. Just got my Feb Toy Soldier and Model Fig mag today and saw 21st's ad for the 88 on the inside cover. It was listed as the flak 36/37, so mystery over. I've always referred to it simply as an 88, so was confused by the referent. Thought maybe 21st was going to do a different flak gun when I read Tom's notice about the flak 36/37. The 88 does look nice and I hope it will hook up to the cold steel prime mover.

I believe the tanks Black Dragon is writing about are the New Ray M3 Lee/Grant, New Ray M4 Sherman, and New Ray King Tiger (this one in two camo paint schemes). I saw them in KB Toys just before Christmas. The packaging is different from what I'd seen before and they do come with a couple of troops and other accessories. These non-motorized versions are the same molds for this product that we've seen before
