More 1:72 Dragon Armor

Post by lightning2000 » Wed Aug 02, 2006 3:35 pm

Hello All,
Dragon looks like its getting close to finally releasing its long awaited Nashorn, at least according to the Dragon USA site. Additionally, a captured T-34/85 is now listed as is a new version of their Jagdpanzer L/70 tank destroyer doubling as a command tank.

Now a separate word about a trend we see occurring that may or may not be appropriate as a forum thread. Gents, we want everyone to enjoy this hobby as much as we do but we're running into quite a few instances where customers are maxing out their credit cards. Guys, these are luxury items and should be treated as such, even if retailers like ourselves end up a losing a few sales. We'd rather see our customers get their finances under control than run up their debt and wonder how they're going to pay for their indulgences. Word of advice: pay down your debt before maixing out your cards, especially with interest rates on the rise. Dont get into a situation where you're playing credit card roulette -- it'll damage your credit worthiness and lead to other more troubling ills...

Wow, you don't hear retailers saying that often. Great advice though. I know it's hard not to run out and buy something you really want (FoV 88 Flak) but there is a time for and a time not. Having bought a house a year ago + medical insurance going up, electric rates going up 80%, a new puppy, and $3+ for gas....now is not the time.

I allow $40 a pay check to waste on stuff like this...that way the savings aren't hurt, nor are the credit cards going up. Thanks again for the words of care and wisdom Lightning.
