Tamiya Fairey Swordfish

Post by cnq » Thu Jul 26, 2018 9:56 am

I started this build before World Cup Soccer and have just finished it.
It's a very nice kit. I did not use Tamiya photo etch wire and just made my own.
Hope you like the pics

Looks very impressive. Very nicely detailed and painted. I don't build plane models but my Father did. Don't know if he built one of those or not.

Fantastic work, CNQ! Cool that it’s in the larger 1/48 scale as I’ve only ever seen the Swordfish depicted in 1/72.

I just smile and shake my head at how you can crank out so many fantastic examples one right after another. You truly have a scale aircraft museum. I know guys that would spend the better part of a year on a kit like that to achieve even near your quality results.

Thanks Axis.
I consider this build to be slow because I took time off to watch World Cup soccer, then 2 weeks vacation outside the country before I slowly got back to it
