Custom Display Bases for 1/72 Armor & Figures

Post by tmanthegreat » Mon Jul 10, 2017 9:57 am

Nothing super fancy here, however, I came across some landscaping pads for model railroading at my local Hobbytown store and thought they would make nice display bases for some of my 1/72 armor. The pads were 5"x7" and I simply inserted them into a cheap photo frame from the dollar store. I think they came out pretty well! I've included some pics showing setups with FOV and Dragon 1/72 scale armor with some FOV and Blitz 72 figures. Enjoy :D

Tman, they look great. It adds so much to a model when its sitting on good display base.
That's why I did some of those bookcase display bases.
You've really set it off with the picture frames, the perfect museum display. Cool idea!
