FOV StuG IIIG Repaint

Post by tmanthegreat » Mon May 15, 2017 10:21 am

I've had a Forces of Valor Action Grade StuG III in the basic orange-ish tan Italian-theater scheme sitting around for years. It no longer had the schurzen (removed & repainted for use on another StuG) but was otherwise complete. This past week I decided to repaint it as an early StuG IIIG on the Eastern Front circa 1943. I used the Dragon Armor 1/72 scale Bodo Spranz StuG III G (#60368) as my inspiration, though my vehicle isn't intended to represent any particular Stug . I used Tamiya acrylics for the paint and Vallejo Thick Mud Weathering Effects for the mud weathering. Below are pictures of my end results... Enjoy :D

Well done, I like the additional mud and weathering.
