Wow! Awesome new armor. Will be very anxious to see how good these look in person. I'd love to see the weathering and details that characterized the FOV models 10-15 years ago as opposed to the "Action Grade" quality items we were getting more recently. But in any event, I'm glad to see 1/32 armor making a comeback.

I am with you on these. The repaints and 'new tooling" items will be under much scrutiny before I commit to buying them. Regardless, this new FOV will be gettung some of my money if all these new vehicles come to fruition.

I just hope that the price isn't gonna be too crazy. The days of $40 tanks and $20 halftracks seems to be over, so I'm hoping that the quality is good and the price isn't too crazy :) :) :)

Wow, some nice offerings. Great to see FOV still making armor and you know I wish some were 1:18,
but I think the money is in 1:32.
Post pics when you guys get some new stuff I'd love to see it!

There is a modest photo gallery of the modest FOV display at the Nuremberg Toy Fair :

Motor Pool has even more modest coverage at:

Anybody know of any other posted pictures? I'm curious to see what they have on the shelf tucked into the corner of the exhibit...and I'm a little disappointed there doesn't appear to be any prototypes of the new 1/32 stuff... :|

The only thing new is the proto-type 1/32 Tiger I. Everything else looks like it did last time FOV was at the show. I want to see all the new models.

Motorpool update on new FOV 1/32.

"In regard to their 1:32 scale static vehicle line, many of the vehicles will not only feature better weathering, painting and, where needed, corrected improvements to bring them up to their correct historical standards, but will also come with more "useful" bonus pieces instead of the standard fare accoutrements that seemed to have no correlation and or redundancy with the vehicle in question. For instance, with their first Tiger I tank, the vehicle will come with a stand-alone Maybach engine, while the Sherman Firefly will be bundled with a Chrysler V-12 engine. Other vehicles might come with similarly conceived extras instead of "wine bottles, cats and road signs", perhaps including transparent cutaways, vehicle crews or other more critical extras that should enhance the overall product and demonstrate they are listening to the consumer.

Perhaps, most importantly, Walterson's has moved into their own manufacturing facility, which reduces the overall cost for each product rather than having to subcontract each product to a third party manufacturer, which would build, assemble and paint their products with little in the way of quality assurance. Moreover, Walterson's has a dedicated team of graphic designers and engineers devoted to each individual sub brand, thereby ensuring consistency across the entire spectrum of their product portfolio and guaranteeing a more uniform approach towards bringing new product to market. We expect big things from this Company and thus far they haven't disappointed."

All good news! And I agree that some firm estimates for release dates are in order.

But FOV when owned by Unimax was not always bad. There was a period from about 2004 to approximately 2007/2008 where the FOV "Enthusiast Line" vehicles were exceptional. Pieces like the T-34, M-26, Panzer IV, Jagdpanther, Panther, T-72, M2 Bradley, AAVP, and others were practically museum-quality replicas and came with a lot of useful accessories and figures. They even had those WWII and Modern accessory sets which provided a lot of goodies. Then things changed. It seemed that in the latter stages of the line, we paid higher prices for what were basically "Action Grade" quality vehicles that came with all those cats, dogs, and road signs.
