Marine M3 Stuart paint scheme on Guadalcanal

Did any Marine M3 Stuarts on Guadalcanal have an olive drab/tan paint scheme similar to the illustration below?

There may some various camo schemes, but not a lot of photo documentation of it. I have seen one pic of an M-5 like the one above, landing at Tarawa. I think most Stuarts were in the plain OD paint at GD....

Thanks for the info. Most of the photos of USMC Stuarts I found were olive drab, but I found a couple with tan camouflage.

Yes, there were some. I don't know if they painted M-3s. It would be interesting to see. The M-5 model shown above, must have had some sort of "inspiration" to work from...

I have seen M-3s in North Africa that had a similar appearance as the crews used local mud to "paint" camo on the base olive drab. They were US Army, obviously....
