Problem with Witty 109G?

Post by aferguson » Mon Jun 20, 2016 8:38 am

I see a lot of Witty 109g's being dumped at low prices. Is there a problem with the model? It' looks ok to me but I know pics often don't tell the whole story.

It's a very crude tooling, AF, which I'd stay away from due to the lack of detail and some unfortunate join bumps/gaps. Also, on one of them, they put the swastika on backwards on one side----I've forgotten which. The Romanian one has a really awful bathroom tile apple green and, of course, horrible mottling.

I don't think they are that bad. The shape is good and so are most of the paintschemes. The two major drawbacks are the backwards swastika on the starboard side and the down gear only.
