Post by Epap » Fri Jan 22, 2016 7:02 am

Thanks to Sniper, who posted this news on the DAF and DAC, I'm passing along a link to the Corgi announcement about the new BF-109E and P-40B, including CAD replications. Also shown are pictures of the new P-51. See Link, below:

I'm so glad Corgi is still in the game. I've been a fan of them for many years and while Hobby Master and other companies produce models with better detail, Corgi still represents a benchmark for me. Wish they would do another B-17G though... Its been awhile since they did one and I'm somewhat worried about how the upcoming Air Force 1 model will look...

This is good news. Particularly the P-40. Plenty of Corgi Emils, but I could buy more.

Likely the Brits will be getting some liveries on this American warbird before we ever see a Taylor and Welch. Which is understandable because they fought with it first in North Africa.
Nice looking desert birds some with the shark mouth too.

Hope they do a split run and make both PH birds though. It's only two numbers difference.

Some AVG Flying Tigers of course. 8)
