Last night I searched for the Vietnam figures (plastic) which were to be released last year. I couldn't find anything. TSSD used to have updates on these figures but there was nothing. Last year at the Toy Soldier Show I saw prototypes in the Marxman's room.
There are Vietnam figures (metal) available but expensive, Figarti, if you can find them and First Legion, FL figures are @ $60 a figure (US and Viet).

The company was called the MARXMAN.
He had lofty plans to do hand poured molds and was going to do an extensive line of VIETNAM and WWII GERM PARA TROOPERS.
Perhaps he met too many road blocks?

That is a very good point about the big toy soldier show in Sept!!!
At the very least, maybe he did do some sets before throwing in the towel?
Hand pouring would end up being a lot of work.

I spoke with John Stengall at the Marx Convention in Wheeling in June. He is still working on the figures and is finding his casting is more art than science. In addition, he is having problems with the local version of the Brooklyn, NY EPA. They are making it more difficult to use his equipment and make the VN figures. Let's hope he can overcome the obstacles and bring the product. John believes VN will sell well.

On a side note he has recast several old 60mm "chubby" Marx army figures. Nice duplicates of original figures that go for $60 today.

Ya, I just spoke to him a few days ago and he's still at it, but focusing on Vietnam.
He'll be selling his new sets at the big toy soldier show in Chicago.
Next year he'll be getting back to doing WWII German Paratroopers.

Any idea what it will cost? I fear with all the delays it's not going to be cheap.
