A Yak-6 Arrives

Post by Epap » Mon Mar 09, 2015 12:17 pm

Yep, it's another one from the DeAgostini series and it's right up AF's alley. The Yak-6 was a WW2 Soviet light transport and, with some mods, a light bomber. The plane was often used to re-supply Soviet partisans behind the German lines. Here's a picture of this nifty 1:100th scale model:Image

It's OK, as is, AF. A nice little addition to my burgeoning second collection---the 1:87-1:120 scale horde which I am amassing. My first scale, as is yours, is 1:72nd and I have two others---the 1:48s and 1:144s---both growing more slowly, I'm sorry to say.

That is a pretty cool model. Never heard of the Yak-6, but nice to see that it is being done.
