Air Force One 1/72 B-25

Post by aferguson » Wed Jan 28, 2015 10:51 am ... -af1-0111/

Just read about this. Good news. Not just for the B-25 but for future potential like the rumoured 1/72 b-17. Price is well below Corgi so it would be great if someone starts doing larger 1/72 offerings.

Apparently AF1 is releasing a lot of product this year... not sure how they are affording it...maybe they are laundering money for the Chinese mafia?

And it's the early model B-25B and the Doolittle plane.

I have the Corgi "Ruptured Duck" Tokyo Raider but if this a better example than a Corgi I'll get it.
The B-25 is one of Corgi's better efforts yet it's an older tooling so it suffers from a few of their flaws.

Wonder if it will be better than an FOV also which is not too bad a value, but a later model.

It will be interesting to see what they come up with, but I want to see the production model first.

I'd almost say any B-17 would be better than a Corgi B-17 at this point, but it's the only one available and at over inflated prices. I'd pay good money for one that was worth it though.
