1/72 Italeri Church

Post by cjg476 » Mon Sep 22, 2014 10:06 am

I recently bought this church from an Ebay seller for $16 + shipping. I like the final results. I know its not as detailed as some as you guys can do but it was a fun Sunday afternoon project. I airbrushed the base, the building and roof hand painted all the corners details and doors. I chose to hand paint as if maybe the clergy were touching it up. I didn't attach the roof or the bell tower permanently as to maybe add detail and figures later. I decided on maybe a Southern French Church or maybe even an Italian one. The vehicles are German units from Italy. Except the horche.

I eventually plan on building a tabletop diorama when we find a house and thought I would share my build with you guys.

Very nice! 8)

I didn't know Italeri made buildings in this scale. For a railroad set up?

Looks to have all kinds of diorama possibilities.

Are the soldiers FOV?

They also make two a house, a house with porch and a stone house. I have the stone house and may post photos later.
