Hasegawa Or Trumpeter

Post by jlspec » Fri Jul 25, 2014 7:48 pm

Any comments or opinions on which company makes the better 1/32 F6F Hellcat , Hasegawa or Trumpeter (or some other company)? I figure I could get two kits for the price of one HM Hellcat diecast.

Lots of arguments, but bottom line: the Hasegawa has a more accurate shape but is an older kit. The Trumpy has a fat fuselage which really bugs the shit out of a lot of builders, but the modern tooling and detail make it a better build. I got one for $20 so I'll live with the swollen belly but I will probably go Hasegawa for the other production version unless something better comes along.
