is the pre finished viper 1/72?....it's probably 1/32 isnt it.

i hope they do prefinised 1/72 vipers.....i think chances are pretty good they will as they usually offer prefinished versions of their models.

The pre-finished BSG Classic Viper is 1/32.

I wish they would release a Raptor.

How soon can we expect these? I just - and by "just" mean last week - bought the 1:32 Moebius kit for the Classic Viper. I have the other two Moebius pre-finished Vipers from the re-imagined series and they are great models. Maybe I'll hold off building...

Traditionally I was never really into BSG and only within about the past month finally decided to watch the BSG original and re-imagined series on Netflix... Now I realize what I was missing. While the original series is dated and campy, I wound up really enjoying it - and the classic Viper was awesome. I like the grittier and in some ways more realistic feel of the re-imagined series. Sorry for all the commentary for something already mainstream in the SciFi community, but it was fun to find out that something one had avoided actually was pretty neat :D

They did make the new series pilot very well so after that it was easy for me to get hooked on it.

1:72 versions of the BSG fighters would be cool. Always thought the BSG series of models old and new would be nice in a regular Action Fleet or Titanium Ultra size.
Many ships they could do still to be realized in any scale.

Still have to get a pre-painted Galactica though, and now the Pegasus.

Made a surprise find at my local Hobbytown USA store yesterday evening when I stumbled across the new Moebius pre-built model 1:32 scale of the BSG Original Series Colonial Viper 8)

I've always liked the appearance of this Viper the best among the different variations... Probably because its a Ralph McQuarrie design and not surprisingly looks like something directly from the Star Wars universe. Further, among the three pre-built Moebius BSG Viper toolings, this is by far the best looking. They added weathering and engine exhaust effects, giving the model a much more real and "movie-prop-like" appearance than the other two squeaky-clean models.

Its funny as several months ago, I bought the Moebius kit of the same ship, but just hadn't gotten around to building it yet. Now not sure what to do with the kit... The pre-built model looks better than what I would have achieved with my own skills

Pics to follow later

You could always make a Silver Spar Squadron Viper from the Pegasus.
or Commander Cain's Viper...
