I have not seen anything like that except for in unpainted model kits, though don't know if they have full gear.

Must be painstaking to try and paint them.

1:72 pre-painted figures interest me because of having ground crew, soldiers, etc. to go with my 1:72 planes and vehicles. There's some but not a whole lot out there.

So the doorway is open on the C-47 Ertl. 8)

yes the door opens which is a huge advantage. I am thinking of putting a chunk of glow in the dark plastic inside the plane so that in low light or in the dark it will glow green and look like the green jump light is on. I want the paratroop figure to put in the doorway like he's about to jump out.. I don't care if i need to paint him. I perused the kits out there and didn't see any in jump gear though; i was hoping somebody knew of where i could get one.

I don't think I've ever seen any 1/72 paras that weren't posed as already on-ground. You'd think as many kits of the plane there are out there someone would have coughed up a set of drop-ready troops.

There used to be one or two with one release of the Italeri C47

Something like 14 years ago or so, I built a 1:72 scale Italeri kit of a Waco CG-4A glider on commission from a WWII veteran who was in the glider infantry. The model is still on display in a local military museum and is the only model I've ever been commissioned to build for someone else...

Anyways, the kit came with a 1:72 scale US pilot figure and Paratrooper in full jump gear (not sure why the paratrooper in jump gear with a glider...). Still have both figures, which I painted, standing amidst my 1:72 collection.

If you haven't done so already, a google search may bear results.
