New KNC D-Day Sherman

There is a new plastic resin product being issued by apparently King And Country for $65.95. It is 1/30, it's painted and comes with stacks for a water landing and a tank commander figure with a .50 cal. It looks good. It's meant to blend with K&C vehicles. (Please recall BMC's Shermans which were all plastic and were made from the K&C molds and they sell for about $10.) You can see it on Hobby Bunker's website. I want to personally take a look at it. If anyone has one, please give a review

When I intentionally saw them I was super happy, I always wanted some amphibious Shermans,
but when I found out it was 1:30 scale I was bummed out. WAY TOO BIG.

It looks like a cheap plastic toy imo and they want $69 for it ? No thanks I pass. I would stick with FoV which have better detail, weathering and in diecast...

Another problem - it is NOT a us "D-Day Sherman". It's an M4A2 which was used in combat by the British Commonwealth, the Russians and the USMC but NOT the US Army. Of course, fopr us purists the FoV Sherman isn't the right variant either!

I'm with Jkinzel.
Wake me up when they do something that hasn't been done 10 times before.
Release something NEW, so that it won't give away its over sized scale.
You can have a CHE-HA in 1:30 next to 1:32 tanks and nobody would tell the difference.
The best of both worlds for business, 1:30 collectors can buy it and so can 1:32.
K&C and CTS are dropping the ball.
Survival of the smartest boys!
