My Armor Collection

I just decided to "retire" most of my 1:72nd scale armor collection to focus on the larger scales. Here's a picture of my reorganized armor items, which occupy two full bookcases:Image

Thanks, cnq. As I mentioned, I kept a few of the small fry but the others are in all scales ranging from 1:50th ( mostly Corgi, Verem, Solido and Gaso.line ) to 1:43rd ( Eaglemoss, DeAgostini, Edison, etc ) to 1:30th ( Thomas Gunn, King & Country, etc. ). You will also see many FOVs, First Legion, North West Trading Co. and John Jenkins Designs models, among the biggies, plus a number of kit-makes.

Nice collection. Dusting these pieces must take a lot of time...

Thanks, K.

Actually, I have to dust these models only about twice a year. They happen to be in my "painting room" and as most dust comes from humans and I'm in that room less often than, say, a bedroom, it's not too dusty there.

Very impressive Ed.

Massive armour collection, but NOT in 1/32 guys. A few select are, but most in 1/72 and similar scales. Ed collects all scales, and this shows that.

Nice stack of Carousel boxes on the side, Ed. 8)

Thanks again, guys. As Snake pointed out I collect armor in all scales, however I've decided to stop buying 1:72nd scale models and have boxed up all but a handful of these little fellows for storage. As a result, almost all of the armor pieces pictured, above, are in the medium to larger scales, starting with 1:50th and going up to 1:30th, with variations in between. I just don't feel that the 1:72nd scale is appealing anymore relative to so many models I'm discovering in the larger sizes.
