Has anyone here purchased from Waffle Collectibles? I've read a few nasty reviews of them on the internet but would prefer any first hand experience from board members here.

Think if you have already heard of some bad reviews, you should probably stay away.

Re: WAFFLE COLLECTIBLES?
I purchased two Gemini 1:72 BF-109F's from them on close out for $10 a piece.
Got them no problem, a sweet deal.
The only thing is I had to join their mailing list and don't know how to shut it off, and get one to two emails every week. Which wouldn't be too bad but all they sell is airliners now right?

Re: WAFFLE COLLECTIBLES?
thanks Dauntless.
It's airliners i'm interested in. Skymarks has a range of 1/150 airliners that are pretty cool. I bought Air Force One and am looking at a few others, which are non military.
Waffles shipping states: 'ships in 2-3 weeks' which gave me pause so i started checking them out. I've since found a forum which indicates Waffles is ligit.
However the 3 week shipping tells me that they don't have it in stock and the model i want is out of production, so they probably won't be able to get it but i'll have to wait weeks to find out they can't get it so i think i'll buy it somewhere else even though it's a few bucks more.

Re: WAFFLE COLLECTIBLES?
I have questions about Waffle Collectibles:
1. Some of their HM models are listed as "special order", so what are the chances Waffle can actually get these HM models?
2. I've seen references that Waffle has promotion codes, and I already get Waffle emails but didn't see a promotion code, so where are their promotion codes?
