Thanks, ketelone.

These 1/32 Mosquito's are pretty big, and heavy.

I think I got it for $149.99, as I placed the order about a year ago.

They are going to release another Fighter/Bomber version in about six months, and that is $199.99, with free shipping.

Something for 1/32 fans to definitely consider.

Some more pics from the Mule.

Are the landing gear and Bombay doors retractable or optional?

I have the "Monticon Express III" 692nd Squadron, 8th Group, 1944 version of the Corgi Mosquito. It is my largest 1:32 model and a centerpiece of my collection.

For a size reference, its nearly the size of a small 1:18 scale plane and mostly diecast. As with most Corgi 1:32 aircraft, the landing gear are retractable, though you have seperate pieces to display the doors open or closed on the Mosquito. Engine panels come off, cockpit door opens, all control surfaces work, and the bomb bay opens. My version came with a 4000lb "cookie" bomb and ground crew with bomb trolley. The bomb can also fit in the bomb bay and attaches using hidden magnets.

The Amiens Mosquito is a modified tooling to create a fighter-bomber variant with the cannon as opposed to mine, which is strictly a bomber with the glazed nose.

The Corgi 1:32 Mosquito is well worth the purchase if you can get one!

I recall one of the earlier Corgi Mosquitos with the ground crew. Very cool. I regret not purchasing it.

I don't collect much 1/32 but I wish I had had the money to get ahold of this one. I love the Mosquito and this piece is awesome. Congrats Snake.

Thanks big_mike.

It is an awesome model of a fantastic aircraft, and a solid piece of diecast. You might want to start saving some pennies and consider getting the upcoming RCAF Fighter/ Bomber, which is similarly armed.

Once these are gone from dealers, they usually fetch good money on the secondary market.

Thanks to Tman for his excellent review of the Corgi 1/32 Mosquito. :D

Congrats to you Snake!

Glad the pre-order fiasco worked out well for you in the end, the diecast gods are smiling upon you :D

This is an awesome model. 1/32 scale chunk of heavy metal, wonderful 20" wingspan!

The Mosquito is an inspired and excellent choice. its beautiful and very unique and has lots of history in WW2. Plenty of cool schemes to choose from too so no doubt we'll see more releases in the coming years.

I've actually convinced myself (with difficulty) not to get one of these... for now. 1/32 scale doesn't really fit into my collection and I have very limited space, which are reserved for couple of heavy 1/72 bombers on my holy grail wanted list. For now I'm happy to have a couple of 1/72 mosquitoes in my hangar for company but just worried Corgi might release a scheme in the future that I'll simply break down and cannot resist

I have the earlier version referenced above and it is pretty spectacular. Wouldn't mind having another but have to save some $ for it.
