"The Fire-Fly"
Finally, a sliver of common sense. Changing the turret!
A novel idea that should have been implemented 5 years ago!
Can we now expect a KV II?

The funny thing is, a week or two before the Fire Fly had been announced, I had predicted it would be one of the next releases! There is going to be a lot of very happy UK collectors.. Now if they would only re-release the 1:32 Challenger II!

The F4U Corsair looks like a nice repaint.

Most of the other makers Corsairs in the tri-color schemes are sold out.
Dragon and Corgi Corsairs in this scheme usually command higher than original price on the secondary market.

A good choice for FOV. I'll probably get one.

Now if they could just release more of their B-26 Marauder and B-25 Mitchell.

Wow! I'm loving the medical Kubel. Having just picked up the tan one a few weeks ago, the vehicle is a favorite among my collection. It has a nice weight, very nice detailing, good weathering, and the figs and accessories are just right. I will certainly be looking to buy the repaint (although some different figs/at least repaints of the figs) would have been nice.

Both of those look awesome. I hope to see some weathering on them. Looks like FOV is making a bit of come back for the end of year. Im sure next year will be pretty awesome!

Very nice to see a Sherman Firefly. Hopefully it keeps the opening hatches of the original FOV Sherman tooling... I really like my 21c version, but this should be better (save the lack of weathering). I've not been tempted by a lot of the recent FOV releases, but will get this one.

Firefly looks good but I will be cautious. I hope we get a retooled hull as well as turret. FoV's basic vehicle is an M4A3 of which the British got a grand total of FIVE of various types for testing - none of which received a Firefly upgrade. There are also detail issues with the tank. The front of the Firefly shows the three-piece transmission cover, which was not on the original FoV Shermans, so maybe we'll get some small upgrades. I know everybody on this board loves "diecast" but I sure hope the majority is plastic as that is much easier for me to cut and modify. IF this tank has some dtail changes I may have to buy at least a couple for parts donors to upgrade older tanks.

Pity we've got to wait over a year for the Firefly. Is there any news of what FoV might be doing in the earlier part of 2013?
