1957 Renwal HAWK Missile
Re: 1957 Renwal HAWK Missile
as i recall, it's not a bad kit. Interesting and unusual subject too. In 1/32 it's a bit bigger than the GI Joe MMS, which was based on the Hawk.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

AFERGUSON:
I actually remember seeing the HAWK kit in stores when I was a kid. I did buy the Renwal USS NORTH CAROLINA and M50A Ontos kits at the time-----the NORTH CAROLINA kit goes for big, big bucks on ebay.

Hawk has been out for a while. Picked one up last year. Revell has been putting out a lot of the classic Renwall Kits lately. 8" SPH; Hawk, Terra Cruiser, and Atomic Cannon are the ones I recall.
The life-like/Snap Hawk battery were nicer, buy 1/40 scale. Still hard to find.

GROGNARD,
It's just my luck that Revell hasn't released the two Renwal models I bought many years ago that I would like to have again.

It's a nice model and it's relatively easy to put together. The pieces actually fit. I have the Renwal cannon which I have yet to put together.
