I see the S1 of the 109G is up on A21. You 1/32 guys are really starting to bother me..
If we get to two months after the 1:18 figures were announced without one photo I might have a breakdown.. :(

Finally, something new in Detroit

Post by blurx7 » Thu Oct 05, 2006 4:03 pm

Found the S4 Stuka and the South African P-40 today near Pontiac. First new thing around here in months. Celebrating twice now. New planes plus a Tiger victory to come home with a split. Nice!

I'm in need of a 1/32 Me 262.

The combo sounds good.

Could someone drop me a PM if they find the 32x Corsair in the Greater Dayton/Cincy area? I have found Med. theater Stukas up the yin-yang, but not a one of the Corsairs.

I have been seeing a lot of the Stukas and the SA P-40, but still no dice with Corsairs in my AO. I am about at the point where I may have to turn to evil bay...

Here's the deal.. There is a Walmart I frequent every couple of days-
Today, I found 1 South African P-40 and the desert Stuka looking quite undisturbed with some old Zeros. I believe the 1/32nd planes come six to a box- has anyone noticed what planes are shipped with these two? Strangely enough, I have seen this P-40 and the desert Stuka at other Walmarts-but only 1 or two of each- There again, what is the arrangement?

Strange... whereas my Walmart, which currently has only one XD plane--an old Bf-109G6 that has been there since last winter--they have about 4 each of the SA P-40s and the desert Stuka. Plus both Dogfight aircraft 2-packs that I know of...

The Walmarts by me only have the P-40 and Stuka you are talking about so I would say 3 of each to a case.

One of our fellow boardmembers has, gratefully, called me today to let me know that the yellow nose stuka as well as the all blue corsairs have shown up on the east side of town. I will pick up these two monday afternoon sometime.

New 109's

Post by blurx7 » Fri Dec 22, 2006 2:15 pm

Found the new 109's today. Both the F and the silver G. Found them in Troy MI. Nice. Just wish I could find the 1/32 Opel truck and the Maultier around here somewhere. Etither they have just not hit this corner of Michigan, or I am too late for the few that have been here.

I found the new 1:72 FOV aircraft and repaints at a Target store today. They had the ME-262, A6M2 Zero, P-40, and repaints of the Stuka and Hurricane.

Edit:
