Nice, I have one of the sharkmouth P-51Ds coming in from a forum member soon. I really like this British P-51D.

Very nice! It looks alot better than the S1 scheme pictured on the box.

I mostly collect 1:18, but I have to admit I've been warming up to the 32X planes. They lack the Wow factor of XD, but at the same time they're nicely detailed and a great size to pick up and fly around (XD can be unwieldy in that vein). They also display nicely in a smaller space (like on my dresser, which just looks overwhelmed if I try to put an XD plane on it).

No, I'm not abandoning Xd to go 32X. I'm just adding 32X to my addiction, er, hobby. 1:32 armor remains too small for me however. Must be 1:18 or I'm not interested.

I took my mom on a day-trip to Monterey Bay along California's central coast today and visited this massive antique store (inside a 4-story former department store building) in the nearby town of Pacific Grove.

Buried back in a remote nook was a section with antique children's toys, books, and other items. Well, lo and behold, in one of the cases there sat a 32x ME-262 in the "Yellow 7" markings. It was complete, unboxed, and a little dusty. The price tag read $49.95

I'm not sure I consider my 21c toys "antiques" just yet, especially when the same plane was at Wal Mart a few years ago for under $15. For the record, I did not get it, but seeing something I collect in an antique store was worth a chuckle

Too funny..... I didn't realize this post was over a year ago...
I have been considering hitting the local Flea Markets to see if there is any 1/32 stuff available.

I attended a model train show yesterday, where I have had considerable success purchasing 1/32 planes and vehicles (FOV, 21st, Britains, etc), and I purchased BBI's Dauntless for $30. It was out of the box, but in great shape. I had just missed purchasing BBI's Wildcat. I already have these planes but I couldn't resist. This vendor also had FOV and 21st 1/32 and 21st 1/18. The 'old' stuff is out there and often at good prices. Sometimes however you will run across vendors that are out of their minds with their prices.
