That's really cool! Horch probably not as nice as the HM version, but a great combo.

Does anyone know if IXO/Altaya towed arty like this or the pak 40 (w/RSO) can be put in the deployed position with split trails?

No, they cannot be deployed.

it's a different Horch body, HM is a 108a, this one is more akin to the type seen in Pics of Africa.

I don't think it was very common for car like this to tow arty pieces. There is not enough room for crew and ammo in it. Besides, 105 le FH18M on it's own weighted 1,8t

it wasn't a 105 was to be towed by a 3ton vehicle.

Yeah, there's no way that car could haul a 105mm gun.

Another question about the 105. Does the gun elevate? Any other parts move?
