question--FOV 1/32 Jagdpanther-Belgium, M26 Pershing

Does anyone know if what units, if any, does the FOV 1/32 Jagdpanther-Belgium and 1/32 M26 Pershing belong to?

I'm no expert on this, but based on a quick look at the hull markings on the FOV 1/32 Pershing I'd say the M26 (the new release that is) would be from the 2nd Company of the 67th Armored Battalion, 3rd Armored Division. I don't have a Belgium Jagdpanther around here so I don't know what the markings look like, but if you could post a pic I might be able to help.

This was actually BefehlsJagdpanther and belonged to Major Sattler, commander of s.H.Pz.Jg.Abt 559. It was damaged between 6-12 September near Hechtel, Holland. The Gun apparently was involved in fire fight with elements of Irish Guards after which, it withdrew to nearby woods, where it has been found abandoned. Crew were uninjured, with the notable exception of Major Sattler, who fell from the vehicle during evacuation. You can see this beastie today in Imperial War Museum, London.

Aw, crap! Now I have to get the Belgium Jagdpanther as well! I lived in England for a while and fondly remember the Jagdpanther at the Imperial War Museum (I went to that museum at least once a week). Its sort of the reason the Jagdpanther is one of my favorite German tanks. I have the "Normandy" version of the FOV tank and rate it as being one of the best, however, as the "Belgium" Jagdpanther is actually the same one in the museum, its going to be a must have

I haven't seen the new M26 in person yet, but I have to offer the following. There was no "67th Armored Battalion" in the 3rd Armored Division. The 2nd and 3rd Armored Divisions retained the old "heavy" or "regimental" organization through the end of the war in Europe. The 3rd Armored had the 32nd and 33rd Armored Regiments along with the 36th Armored Infantry Regiment, the 2nd Armored Division had the 66th and 67th Armored Regiments and the 41st Armored Infantry Regiment. American companies aren't referred to as "1st Company, 2nd Company" etc, they were referred to by letter designation or function (i.e. "Service Company", "Cannon Company").

The 3rd Armored Division was one of the first unit to get a batch of the T26E3 test tanks. The 2nd Armored Div. also got M26s but later.

Well, again... I'm no expert, but the information listed for this tank at the Motorpool website says the following: Forces of Valor 2010 Military Vehicle Introductions: US M26 Pershing Heavy Tank - 2nd Company, 67th Armored Battalion, 3rd Armored Division, Germany, 1945, so somebody clearly thinks a "2nd Company, 67th Armored Battalion, 3rd Armored Division" existed. Now, whether or not it's true in reality or a figment of some model manufacturers imagination, I can't say.
