Hello

Post by miggles » Fri Jan 29, 2010 2:41 pm

So im kinda new, kinda not to this forum. Ive been watching the forum for years now. I collect any 1/32 scale. and am planning a massive dio which will include over 90 some tanks and vehicles. Mostly FOV and 21st. My worry is that the 1/32 scale is coming to end. Any thoughts on this? Is there any hope for the future?

Welcome miggles.

Dunno, there seems to be a lot of pieces on ebay that can be had for reasonable prices.
Though if you're like a lot of us, we have most of it.
FOV is still in business, so there's some 1/32 armor still available. Can't say much about the aircraft, though I may end up getting one or two of those.

One possible bright spot is the emerging Go-To Toys which is basically 21st Century Toys reborn kinda-sorta, though no news yet on if they are going to turn out any 1/32, or if they even have all the previous molds.
They (tko211 spokesman) did however hint at some 1/32 in the future.

Keep your fingers crossed.

I have heard alot about them lately. And i had heard that they picked up 21st century's molds. I already got some 90 1/32 tanks and vehicles for my dio but i want more lol.

Your a go-to guy for pointing that out, thanks GI546

You've got no aircraft miggles. A couple of tank busters and it's over. :?

That's ok, the weather could be bad and they couldn't make it to the battle. :P

There is a bit of news coming out of AG about their 1:32 items. Word is they have nearly 99% of the 1:32 tooling except the JSI pirates have I believe He said two vehicles.

One piece of excellent news, there is a completed Typhoon in 1:32 that was never released. Some talk about firing up the 1:32 as soon as they have their feet firmly planted.

My inside guy tells me Corgi USA is finished, FOV/Unimax are being eaten alive by Target and their pricing policies, may not be in the stores this fall BBI selling off inventory. I guess the Big Blunder 1:18 scale F14 has taken its tool on the 1:18 importers. Word is you bought it you own it.

I'm thankful 21st Century Toys was not like that. JSI and their surrigates Typical Chinese company. Once they have your money you are SOL.

So true i have no birds to protect my guys on the ground lol. I think there is two in there.

Anyway 1:32 scale typhoon would be kickass. Any news on a time line, or quality or web site or anything like that?
