I wonder if Target will offer this plane. They never offered any iof the past FOV German planes.

Hmm.. I would probably buy this if I saw it at Target just because it's a Hartmann. Depending on if I could find one not too sloppily done.

I'm sure eventually they will show up. Not to fond of the blue nose Bravo Team P-51D already on the shelf at Target though. But it is the same box.

Target didn't sell FOV German planes. Nor did TRU....

If they just retooled the 109 like they did the rest of FOVs stuff for plastic and used the same FOV mold, you really DO NOT want this plane....
The metal version was awful and this one probably isn't any different.

Could this be something new?
If so, could this be why 21C wasn't picked up at Target?

BTW: That's a lot of packaging...

I agree. The original FOV metal aircraft were pretty awful and condsidering that the Bravo Team plastic re-hashes of FOV vehicles look like cheap Big Lots knock-offs I'd be plenty surprised if this was any better.

Well if they toned down the battleship rivets from the diecast one, when they did this one, they might be ok.

Yeah, but that is the diecast version. The Bravo team is probably plastic.
If you want to see close up pics of the FOV diecast version, look here:

I picked this up at Target several days ago. Not exactly up to 21C's best quality, but still a nice "toy."

Do the Bravo Team planes have a stand like their FOV cousins?

Kinda hard to tell what it really looks like from the website as the photo is heavily retouched.

It's good to know however that it has retractable landing gear at least.

I don't know, when 21st first came out with the 109E, they were pretty funky too. Much improved details with the F and G's.

The only thing I've bought from the Bravo Team was the Stryker and the 2 Tank Commanders to go in it. Passed on everything else so far, as the standards are lower for the same price.

Wonder if now though they might come out with plastic versions of the Spitfire and Aircobra?

I hit a couple of local Targets and no Me 109's. I'll keep looking. Did your Targets have the FOV German aircraft?

None at my local Targets yet either. I'm not worried as I'm sure they will show up eventually... Tons of the Bravo Team 1:48 scale Blackhawks in the mean time.

None at my stores.. yet. Not that I will buy one anyhow. From what I've seen of the line I'm convinced that Bravo stands for Bull....!

I'd like to see some pics in the flesh, but honestly, I don't believe we are missing out on much if the FOV version is anything to gauge by.

Gentlemen, as much as I hate to say it this may be the future of 1/32. Of course five years ago we would have been jumping for joy over the Bravo team releases.

If they release the P-39 in plastic I think that would be pretty cool. I have never bought one at the $50 price. That is like 100 MD 1/18 SS troops!

The P-39 had pretty decent reviews and would probably look good in plastic. The early FOV releases (P-51, Spit, Bf-109G) were awful and probably not looking much better unless Bravo (or whatever) retooled the molds. And I seriously doubt that.

The FOV P-39 is an excellent model, and one of my favorites. It is nice and heavy, and has really nice detail. A winner in my book. :D
