1/72 or 1/32 SITTING figures?

Post by worldwar2buff » Fri Oct 10, 2008 11:03 am

Does anyone made 1/72 or 1/32 sitting figures?

We've got all these trucks and halftracks and such. Are there any figures in sitting poses to fill them out?

Please let me know if there are and where I can get them.

There are loads of sitting 1/72 scale figures. Check out Preiser, Milicast, and AB Figures. Milicast and AB Figures are supposedly 1/76 scale but look great in 1/72 vehicles.

TSSD used to have the "Potato Peeler Guy" that was roughly 1/32. Never bought one so I can't say for sure...

Dragon makes some 1/35 prepainted tank figures and 1 or 2 of them are sitting.

There are the German tank riders that come with the most recent FOV Stug III release, and the US soldiers on the Sherman with the sandbags. Some of the older 21c Cold Steel vehicles came with sitting German figures. There are also the original 32x US Tanker figures as well.

King & Country sell 1/32 tank rider figures (for every theatre) but a set of 4 figures cost 80$ so you're much better off buying the new FOV Stug III , Panther or King Tiger that comes with some nice looking figures

King and Country stuff is about 1/30, not 1/32. In my opinion they just would not look right on a 21st or FoV tank.
