Its been quite a while, since I last posted but it was irresistible not to comment seeing this sad news. I have to say that I am a loyal FOV 1/32 armor guy and have spent close to $1000 USD on their products. However, most of those tanks that I have bought were from the 2004-2009 window. Their newer releases with the newer packaging just doesn't make up for their older better painted and packaged tanks, such as the winter tiger, winter pz IV, winter stug ,etc. I still have all the FOV tanks, but it seems that as far as collecting anymore FOV, its over.

Last post on first page. We may see a very good upside to this.

Fair enough CAT, SNAKE and KETELONE, I don't disagree that SELLTOY is slightly sub-standered.
Perhaps a 7/10.
I have every intention to paint and augment to bring things up to an exceptable 8/10.
My hopes are that they will improve on every model after that so that after painting they can sit next to their predecessors.
Unlike some of you, I have not abandoned 1:32 for 1:35 kits, just sometimes.

FWIW, check out the previously optimistic Motor Pool's latest take on the subject (and I hope they don't mind being quoted):

"In early January, our distributor informed us that the list of product originally slated for release was nixed by the manufacturer in favor of a new group of items. It is now February, with the Nuremberg Toy Fair behind us, and we are of the opinion that Unimax has withdrawn from the marketplace, perhaps permanently. We hope it isn’t true but at this point fear the worst."

I'm grieving...love or hate FOV, for 1/32 fans, they're the only game in town...

Any additional news about FOV? I requested info from Matt at Hobby Bunker and no response. Doesn't look good....

It was only a matter of time the way they were handling themselves and their product. Now the question is, do we buy up the stuff of theirs we haven't bought yet because it was overpriced, but now disappearing? Or do we wait until the "US Distributor" they sold all their inventory to sells it off, hopefully at discounted prices? I still need to pick up thier U.S. Ambulance, Sherman Firefly, and protze w/Pak combo.

Decisions, decisions...

With today's market place and the way this specific 'hobby' is going, I'd recommend start buying what you can before there is no more...

Still pretty hesitant with those $65+ price tags, but I guess if I get them now and they get cheaper I can just buy some more :P

Sadly I must concur. RIP FOV. I now feel like Sydney Greenstreet's character in the Maltese Falcon on a quest for the unobtainable....

Start gathering up what you want in your collections! From TFM and other places, I'm gathering the last of what I wanted and can still get at reasonable prices.

OMG, did you scroll down and see what they claim is the original price?

Methinks there is a gas leak in their offices.
