These reviews are probably a little out of date, but I agree with their conclusions.

very good review! i would also agree i have a few WWII vehicles details are ok but the fact that they havnt been done by anyone else makes up for it. i noticed in the new USA launch very few WWII are offered

Agreed, they're releasing items outside the typical meat and potatoes.

I'm not sure I'll live long enough to see Dragon get to those models.

Thanks for posting this.

I just bought a couple (and got one free).

Once they come in, and if I like them, I will probably order more.

I love the fact that they are offering things no one else is...

American, How did you contact them? I messed up my address  when ordering and haven't heard from them when I tried to straighten it out via the website? Thanks.

Received mine today.

They aren't the best (Hobby Master and Dragon are tops for me), but with subjects I don't see elsewhere and the handy magazine to round out the package is very nice in-deed!!

I can see purchasing more.

In further looking them over, I do have to say if I had to pay full price for them I probably wouldn't get them.
Anymore $20 each is a little spendy for me when there's so many other items (planes and tanks) I'd like to get.

I ordered 3 more, and if the sale is still going on in another month I would probably get more.

Modern

I haven't received my order yet, but I'm about ready to put in my second. I absolutely *love* the wide selection of Modern subjects they have! The LeClerc, Ariete, Merkava, AMX, and Paladin all look fantastic! Who else is going to make these? I can't wait to finally have a line up of all of the currrent Western MBTs on my shelf!

My first order arrived today.

As everyone else has noted, the detail is not as crisp as it probably should be, but it's actually BETTER than what is shown on the website.

I also have to give them points for the quality of the booklet / magazine that comes with each tank. It is well produced with great artwork.

I ordered:

LeClerc
Paladin
M-48 Vietnam

About to place my second order, if the sale is still going on...

I didn't have any real problems with my orders so far, and am very pleased with the tanks and the packaging - nice little booklets!

The jewels of the line so far are the modern tanks. The WW2 stuff is okay, but I'm really waiting for some of the rarer stuff that is later in the line.

Lightning: If I were you, I'd try to contact them and cut a deal by ordering a bunch of their tanks in bulk and reselling through your site. They don't have a huge audience yet, and I know some people would rather go with someone they know like you, than a manufacturer-direct website. This would also help guarantee this line's success in the US, which we all want, and help push more product down the pipeline.

Trevor: Thanks again for making this happen. Please consider telling them that it'd be a great idea to mix in some of their more recent European releases in with the older stuff on their website. I know I don't want to have to wait a couple of years for the RSO or 250!

I'm sure there is, I was just reporting an issue with the site so that it might be fixed.

Thanks

Wish I could say the same. I placed my order for three tanks (an AMX, Chieftain, & T-55) on Nov. 8th, and still have not received them... :? I sent them an email today, so we''ll see how they respond. I noticed the Paypal payment I made went to a company in the UK, and I have 45 days to file a dispute if I don't receive my goods. It's going on 30 days now since my order was placed with no sign of the tanks yet, so something is going to have happen very soon, either my tanks will arrive or they send me a very convincing reply with an order staus update, or I will have little choice but to file a Paypal dispute.... :x To me, their whole process, ie. site navigation, messaging & ordering, etc. seems kind of odd and a bit tedious, so these tanks (assuming that I get any at all) had better be really nice, or this will likely be my last transaction with DeAgostini.

I did receive my 2nd set of tanks that I ordered, but 2 were damaged in the shipping. I've tried e-mailing them and I get nothing but "bounce back" e-mails.
Can't say I'm very confident in them.

I found that you can't reply directly to the emails they send, I had the same problem as you, they were rejected as "undeliverable" or some such, which seems very odd to me. You have to go to the DeAgostini site and submit a multi page "inquiry" which to me seems slightly retarded... Just curious but did your items ship from here in the US or did they come from across the pond..?? I'm giving them 48 hrs to give me a satisfactory response, and if I don't get one I'll file a claim with Paypal.
