Yeah, but even with the old mould, I think that 262 takes new paint schemes quite well. Sure the pilot is crummy and it could do without the bombs, but I'm quite pleased with the paint scheme I have (Eprobungs Kommando)...

Beautiful figures! I'm going to have to pick some of these up soon.

Yes the 262 maybe using the old mould but I sure like the scheme. I only have 1 262 so I will probably pick this up with everything else if I ever see it.

OK, so I found the new Firefly single, the three packs of 1/32 figures, the 1/18 figures, the P-51 and the ME 262 at a store in Redford Michigan. No sign of the 1/144 stuff or the Pakomag.
Funny thing is, I was at another TRU locally yesterday and a very nice clerk ran checks through their system and found no reference to 21C.

My AO is dry. Even the TRU managers have no clue when we will get the stuff. I think 21st throws darts at a giant map of the US to determine who gets the stuff.

Man, I remember the day when you could go into TRU and fill up a cart. That was more than fun!! Although getting the goodies home was even better!!

The TRU in Columbus doesn't have any of this new stuff yet. But when the do, I'm grabbing a shopping cart and honkin' the horn at kids and parents in my way.

MY TRU has had nothing but the same old FOV Marine Amtracs and British Grants for ever. Even Target has more FOV and they don't have a lot!

Yesterday, I phoned the TRU on Morse Rd. and they said that they had a bunch of the new stuff. :)

So, I got myself cleaned up and drove the loooong 20 minute drive. I walked in, got a shopping cart, and headed back to that department.

I walked out with 3 of each of the Italian infantry sets, 3 of each of the DAK sets, and 2 green Fireflys. 8) Man, that was just like back in the old days.

I left them with 2 other Fireflys. They also had some XD kannonwagons, the 1/144 airplane 2 packs, 1/48 Pnzr IV and Wirbelwind, 1/48 ME-109s, and some XD DAK figs.

I'm going to guess and say that there is 3 of each set, A & B, of the new 3 pack figure sets in each case. I bought all they had - 3 of each. I just need a fourth of each set for wargaming as I try to buy them that way. I only have 2 of each of the U.S. set 3 though.

Hopefully one on the TRU here will get the new playsets. I'd love to have, for the figs alone, 4 Cobras, and only 1 Porsche King Tiger and 1 of the Sherman bulldozer sets.

I suppose that I should quit calling them Toys Were Us.

The Fresno TRU finally got in the new 21c stuff - everything but the 32x planes :D Glad my town wasn't skipped out!
