Found a couple of the 109s in Round Rock. Ithink they were S2 and S3 if I am remembering correctly.

Since I am traveling for work I am in Sacramento, Calf. Right next to the office that I working at, today is the grand opening of a new WM. This afternoon I am going to make a quick run over there and see what 21st product they stocked for a new WM.

Good luck in CA! In 1:32, across a number of central California Wal Marts that I have visited within the past month, there seemed to be a predominance of the "Winter" Bf-109Fs, and varying assortments of the 1:48 vehicles, 1:48 Bf-109s, and the 1:144 planes. You might also find other paintschemes of the 32x Bf-109F/G. If you're really lucky, you may come across some of the carded playsets, figures, or a "Tar Heel Hal" P-47. My area has gotten in all of the above, save the carded playsets & figures.

In 1:18, I've seen a bunch of the new F-104s, the new D-Day figures, and the occasional Huff F-86. I've not seen any of the Migs. I'm not sure whether or not the Pearl Harbor P-40s have shown up in the west yet. Quite frankly, your stores in Texas probably have as good of a selection, if not better

Found the 1/32 Sherman dozers in kit form in Benton Harbor today, too, as well as P-51Bs and P-51Cs in 1/48.

FoV new figures

Post by bboc » Mon Jun 18, 2007 7:33 pm

Found the new German prisoner set at Target, Glen Burnie, MD, the Crain Hwy store. The figures are just as good as reported. If the others had been this good, I would have multiple sets. Also new were two Stuarts.

There were some others that have been hanging around for a while including a 1/72 Tiger. I guess the local market is saturated for some of the stuff.

Found one each of the 32x P-51B/Cs: "Bald Eagle" and "RAF" :D They were in a store that I was in only yesterday and which had only two 32x "winter" Bf-109Fs. Picked up both P-51s

I am starting to notice on Evil-bay the Polish Mustang, the Longtom cannon and a couple of other sets out. The would mean that our WMs may/should start seeing them!

I saw both the Mustangs here in California (see the other thread). None are left in the store where I got them, thoug I doubt it will be long before they are all over like the "winter" Bf-109Fs.

A local Target had the new FOV 1/32 "Medic" and "Prisoner" figure sets, plus a lone action grade M5 Stuart. I snagged one of each.

Found more of the 32x P-51s at the Clovis, Ca Wal Mart. That makes two stores in my immediate area that have gotten them in the past week. In both cases, the aircraft were the S1 "Bald Eagle" P-51B and the S2 "RAF" P-51C 8)

Found the new P-51's, but had to pass them up because they all looked like they were painted by a 2 year old. Smudges and fingerprint marks everywhere.

My uncle found one of the polish P-51's at the Coldwater MI Walmart. It was the only 32X P-51 that was left. I'm waiting for the bald eagle P-51. Does it appear that both schemes come in one case?

Yes, both schemes come in one case: 2 "RAF Polish" P-51Cs and 2 "Bald Eagle" P-51Bs. I have seen a partial caseload at one local Wal Mart and a full one at another

Found more 32x P-51B/Cs at two more Wal Marts in my area. Again, it is the S1& S2 assortment with the USAAF "Bald Eagle" and RAF P-51s. That makes 4 out of the seven store in my area that have gotten in the new aircraft 8)

No sign of the new playsets, but there's still a couple of stores to check.

Other "new" 21c finds included the 1:48 P-40N.

Thanks Tman. These must be pretty popular because that's 4 aircraft sold. It wasn't that long since I'd been their and all they had new was the german halftrack and truck.
