I, personnally, would be very interested in holding (and purchasing) a 1:32 line of products from admiral toys. Just saying is all....  «nudge» «nudge»

Although this thread is about BBI...

In regards to Jason's posts, I think Admiral Toys can still get into 1:32, just they need to focus on making aircraft that no other company has made. The Kate is a case in point! As AT already sells only with the small retailers (and hence the collector market) they will be situated just fine. There are also plenty of other planes that would be cool in 1:32 and may even sell better than if they were in 1:18. For another example, look at the diverse array of 1:72 aircraft produced by the european company IXO. Imagine if some of those were made in 1:32 by Admiral Toys!

Jason of Admiral Toys wrote:They do look incredible! I talked with Merit extensively about this line and it will be a winner. But 21st also has the F-4 coming out in 1:32. I am torn between which one to purchase. Oh, who am I kidding...? I, personally, will purchase both. They are both incredible model makers, BBI, 21st and FOV all make great looking 1:32 aircraft. This scale is heating up. I am a true fan of all the above listed. I cannot wait to see what is next, B-17 anyone!! That would be incredible!

Regards,
Jason
Jason,

Was the phantom on display the actual BBI prototype or is it a tamiya model like Digger mentioned?

Did merit announce a pricepoint? What did they tell you about the line?
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

The Good Lord delivers on my 32X prayers. :D

Wait, what? They can't mass retail this? The Lord giveth and taketh away.

I'm really hoping though that they can find a way to mass-retail this.
