Ok, so its a 1/48 scale model, but the finish......very cool. Had to share

Sure could've fooled me. I would've thought it was another 1/18th scale plane if you hadn't mentioned it's scale. Great looking plane!

This is a 1/48 scale model kit. Years of experience and hours of sanding and painting is the only way to get a model with that kind of finishing.

That model was featured on http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/ on Tue Feb 28.

Yeah,......I could'nt tell if it was "hand-crafted",..or something from the "Franklin Mint" collection. :wink:

Thats what first caught my eye. It looks like a finely detailed diecast miniature. Simply beautiful work. Anyways, I figured it would fuel a few imaginations and innovations from some of the more gifted customizer here, (and make the un-gifted, such as myself push ourselves a bit harder).

Besides, it looked too damn good not to share with you guys
