CTS's adobe buildings

Post by Winky » Sun Jan 22, 2006 8:58 am

I don't know whether people noticed but CTS has some neat new stuff, including two new adobe buildings.

The two adobe buildings look fantastic. CTS has really supplied us with a wealth of adobe choices. The first building of their two new offerings is a thatched roof structure with holes in the thatch for guys to fire from. This makes the second thatched roofed bulding CTS has produced. The second building looks like a full two stories with an external walkway and is meant to represent a barracks. Pics of both buildings are up on the CTS website.

I personally really like the stucco finish on CTS' adobe buildings and walls. While these buildings can be used for Alamo scenarios, they make wonderful North African buildings for WWII battles. Check out the CTs website to see the variety of adobe buildings available. For people that may not be aware, Hobby Bunker and Barzso Toys also have neat adobe buildings that can be used for the same purpose. The buildings, by the way, are a full 1/32nd scale, but compact enough to be easily storable. The range from these manufacturers now includes a number of different walls sections, including corner and gate walls, towers, and at least 17 different buildings!
